Access Control

Every badge swipe
with video attached.

Keycard, fob, and biometric entry systems integrated with your CCTV. One view, one log, one system to manage, so a door event and the footage of that door event are never two separate investigations.

Why integration is the whole point

An access control system on its own tells you a credential opened a door at 2:14 a.m. Your cameras on their own tell you somebody walked through a door at 2:14 a.m. Neither one tells you whether the person holding the badge is the person it was issued to.

Integrated, the door event and the video are one record. You search a name or a door, and you get the footage of that entry, which is the difference between a suspicion and something you can act on.

What we integrate

Keycard and fob readers, biometric readers, gate and overhead door controls, and intercom entry, tied into the same camera and recording infrastructure we install.

If you already run an access system and only want the camera side connected to it, that is usually possible. Tell us the make and model and we will confirm before quoting anything.

Need a tower instead of an install?

Mobile solar surveillance towers rent at $2,500 per month flat and stand up in under four hours, on sites with no power and no internet.

Common Questions

Questions we get asked

Can you integrate access control with cameras I already have?

Often, yes, and equally often we can connect a camera system to an access platform you already run. It depends on the make and model of both. Tell us what is installed and we will confirm what integrates before we quote anything.

What happens when an employee leaves?

You revoke the credential and the door stops opening for it, the same day, without changing a lock or collecting a key. That single capability is why most properties move off physical keys.

Do I need access control if I already have cameras?

Not necessarily. Cameras tell you what happened. Access control decides what is allowed to happen and creates a record tied to a person. If your losses are happening through doors that should have been locked, access control is the part that is missing.

Is biometric entry worth it over a keycard?

It depends on what you are protecting. A keycard can be handed to somebody else, a fingerprint cannot, so biometric readers make sense on a small number of high-value doors rather than on every door in a building.
